Baylor University has been granted federal income tax exemption from the IRS by being classified as a 501(c)(3) organization. Charitable Gifts to Baylor University are tax exempt, although gifts which include benefits, may be subject to tax on the value of the benefit. For more information about Baylor’s tax-exempt status, please contact Baylor Financial Services at (254)710-3731.
Receipts will be provided for gifts of $250 or more and for quid pro quo charitable contributions in excess of $75 where the donor received goods and service in exchange for their contribution.

A one-time gift is a single gift made by a person to the University. A recurring gift is an ongoing automatic gift by credit card over time, usually occurring monthly or annually. Additionally, a pledge is a commitment to give a set amount with an installment plan. All three can be set up through our Secure Online Giving page, however, to set up automatic pledge payments, please call the Gift Office at (254)710-2561.
Yes. Baylor's online giving platforms utilize industry standard HTTPS security which means your information is encrypted and transmitted securely. Additionally, our merchant services are PCI Level 1 compliant.
