Honor a Loved One with a Memorial or Tribute Gift

Memorial and tribute gifts provide a meaningful way to celebrate the life and legacy of someone special while supporting Baylor University.

• Memorial gifts are a meaningful way to honor a lost loved one’s life and continue their legacy. You may choose for Baylor to notify a family member.
• Tribute gifts offer an opportunity to donate in recognition of someone special in your life while supporting Baylor. Tributees will be notified of your celebration via mail.

*Gift amounts will not be shared by the university.

How to Give a Memorial or Tribute Gift

• Online: Visit baylor.edu/give and check the box "I'd like to make this gift in memory or tribute" on the second page of the Secure Online Giving portal.
• By Mail: Send a check payable to Baylor University with the honoree’s name included.

• Designate a Fund: If you would like to direct gifts to a specific fund in memory or tribute of a loved one, please email Donor_Relations@baylor.edu for assistance.

Including Baylor in an Obituary

If you would like to include Baylor University in an obituary by inviting family and friends to contribute in memory of your loved one, we offer the following sample language: 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests giving to Baylor University in memory of [individual’s name]. Memorial gifts may be made at baylor.edu/give or by check, payable to Baylor University and mailed to:
