A new semester of Bold Pursuits is unfolding at Baylor, propelled by the incredible support of our alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends. Building on the momentum of a dynamic and productive fall semester, we’re moving forward with energy and purpose—continuing to equip our students for meaningful impact in the world.
With deep gratitude, we celebrate the progress the Baylor Family has already made possible this academic year. And with anticipation, we look toward what’s next—new chances to lead with vision, spark innovation, and transform lives through faith-filled learning and discovery.
Expanding Opportunity: Extend the Line Scholarship Initiative
With nearly $101M raised through the Extend the Line Scholarship Initiative at the close of 2025, our $250 million goal for 2030 is within reach. Expanding scholarship support strengthens affordability and bridges the distance to a transformational Baylor education for more aspiring Bears. Every gift to scholarships alleviates financial barriers for talented students, allowing them the opportunity to thrive on campus and carry their callings into the world.
“Scholarships mean opportunity. I wouldn’t have [had] the opportunity to experience a school like Baylor, where my professors genuinely care for me and I’m surrounded by very driven, like-minded students that are excited to live out their faith in the business world. That’s not normal. That’s something you only get at Baylor University.”
— Daniel Chang (BBA ‘25), Finance and Entrepreneurship
Enhancing the Student Experience: Parent Support
Family Weekend in September was next-level! Of countless visitors to campus from near and far, 951 Bear enthusiasts jumped into our special event packages – up nearly 50% from 2024! And the momentum didn’t stop there. Thanks to Family Weekend, t-shirt purchases and gifts made by more than 1,500 donors, the Baylor Parent Fund grew last Fall — and it’s still climbing!
Parent generosity is fueling transformative student experiences, powering exceptional programs across campus, and making Baylor feel even more like home. Get ready — the Parent Fund impact this year is something you won’t want to miss.
Answering the Call to Lead: Faculty-Staff Giving
Our amazing faculty and staff don’t just pour their hearts into teaching and research; faith formation and leadership development; and keeping campus buzzing—861 have also given more than $1.3M to Baylor this academic year—before the spring semester even began! In doing so, they are part of Our Baylor. Our Call to Lead, an initiative celebrating the spirit of generosity exemplified by our faculty and staff. That spirit is shining across more than 200 areas of campus this year to support scholarships, excellence funds and more.
Stepping Out in Faith: Baylor Missions
Following devastating flooding in Central Texas last July 4, the Baylor Family gave nearly $26,000 to the University’s BearAid Disaster Relief program, through a BearFunded crowdfunding campaign to assist our neighbors in need, exceeding their goal by nearly 300%! Four BearAid trips throughout the summer and fall took 41 students and 27 faculty/staff to impacted areas.
Baylor Spiritual Life coordinates mission trips, service trips and immersion trips for our Bears throughout the year, including 2026 Spring Break , May Minimester and Summer experiences spanning 25+ locations, domestic and global.
“We want them to know not only what Baylor is about but for them to understand this is now their responsibility as a Baylor student – to carry on the legacy of service to our neighbors.”
— Rebecca Kennedy, Assistant Dean for Spiritual Life & Missions
Engaging the Baylor Family: Student Ambassadors
Throughout the Fall, student representatives of our Baylor University Engagement Center visited with nearly 2,800 alumni, parents and friends. Their outreach as Advancement Ambassadors is vital to engaging the Baylor Family in campus life—from promoting events and seeking feedback, to connecting affinity with giving opportunities and expressing gratitude for support.
More than a voice on the line, student callers value our university and the chance to connect with their Baylor Family. Additionally, they are a team cultivated by our staff not only to serve Baylor, but also to develop professional skills and camaraderie that strengthens their own experiences on campus and beyond. If you hear from them, take a moment to connect through your continuing Baylor story.
Creating Collective Impact: Baylor Giving Day
Last year on Baylor Giving Day, more than 3,900 donors gave $2.2M+ to support every corner of the Baylor experience!
On April 1, alumni, parents, and friends will rally together again to create BIG collective impact across their favorite areas of campus. Get ready for 24 hours of Baylor spirit—challenge gifts, friendly competition, and meaningful support that empowers our students to learn boldly, lead faithfully, and shine brightly!
