Grateful for Your Generosity

October 15, 2026

In July, I had the pleasure of sharing wonderful news with the Baylor Family. Through the generosity of donors across generations of Baylor alumni and friends, Baylor achieved the highest fundraising year in its 181-year history during the 2026 fiscal year. Nearly 25,000 alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends joined together to give a record-breaking $244.5 million to the University.

Such record-breaking giving was enhanced by those of you who provided financial support in the form of a planned gift — a gift that, coming to fruition in the future, will ensure Baylor remains strong for generations to come.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Old Main Society, composed of individuals or couples who have made a provision for Baylor through a will, trust, retirement plan, life insurance policy, life income arrangement or another type of planned gift.

In this issue of To Light the Ways of Time, you will discover stories of Old Main Society members who, with generosity and thoughtfulness, have utilized a planned gift to achieve their philanthropic goals and support Baylor’s Christian mission. Such gifts provide a foundation for Baylor’s growth. I encourage you to explore your options in making a planned gift to Baylor as we continue to transform students’ lives and serve the surrounding world. Thank you for your prayerful support for Baylor University!
