The College of Arts & Sciences
The Baylor College of Arts & Sciences is the largest academic unit at Baylor: offering the university core curriculum for all undergraduates, a leader moving Baylor to recognition as an R1 institution through its nationally funded research grants and doctoral production, and integrating programming across the arts and humanities, as well as the social, physical and natural sciences.
The College of Arts and Sciences is driven by its mission: to nourish students' individual lives, fostering their development as imaginative, engaged leaders who will use their skills and character to address the needs and challenges of the larger world.
For this mission to succeed, A&S relies on the Baylor Family’s support of the Core Four — the foundational funding areas that strengthen this work: scholarships, faculty funding, flexible excellence resources and program resourcing.
